Chris: All right, welcome, welcome, welcome to another episode of the MOORE Expo, the Momentum Podcast, where I, your host, Chris Holloway, get an opportunity to catch you up to speed on anything that's new and exciting with the event. We also always feature some pretty fantastic guests. Tonight, we will be featuring a dear friend of mine, Cindy Pope. For those of you who don't know Cindy, she is the brains behind the KOAR event up in Michigan, Overlay in the Red. We were just talking backstage, she's been at it and doing these events longer than more expos have been around, so we'll definitely tip our hat to that. Cindy also runs Northology Adventures Magazine, which is a fantastic free subscription. So if if you get a chance or if you have your phone in front of you right now, jump on NorthologyAdventures.com. Sign up for that free magazine publication. It's absolutely fantastic. She does a wonderful job. And once a year, I get the pleasure of working with Cindy on Momentum Magazine, which is what we will be kind of talking about today going through you guys will kind of get some behind the scenes about what really goes into making a magazine like this. Uh, Cindy can correct me if I'm wrong when she gets in, but I believe it's around, um, it's around 80 pages, maybe even 90 pages. I know that our printer said, if we, if we add one more page to it next year, we'll have to go to a saddle or go away from saddle stitch and actually buying the book, which is, uh, Big news and very exciting for us. That means we're growing and the magazine is growing. So Momentum Magazine is live now on the MOORE Expo website under attendee information. So jump in there, cruise through. There's some great articles and we're going to show you guys all this stuff too. So excited to have everybody on board. I'm seeing some Some awesome people jumping in here. I saw Kerry there. There were a couple more pop up. Donald Wood, he's a great friend. Thank you guys all. Keep the comments coming in. I love seeing them. If anybody has any questions, fire them off during this event or during this podcast so that way we can address them and let everybody know. If you have a question, chances are several other people have that question as well. There's Kerry. Cool. This is good. This is gonna be a good time. Guys, we're getting so close to More Expo and I'm so excited. We just keep adding vendors. The vendor spaces is nearly like maybe one spot left, but booked out completely. We added 100 spaces this year in the outdoor vendor area. So when you show up to Moore Expo, it's going to look like a whole nother event. It just keeps growing and growing and growing. Something that that couldn't be done without some amazing sponsors and supporters Also could not be done without our attendees. You know, we we do this all for you guys. So Yeah, so Let's see also when you're on the more expo website be sure to jump in to the power sports expansion tab take a look at what we've got going on with the power sports expansion that's in that big new brand new beautiful building up on the hill, right there on site. So you get two, two events, one ticket. We let's see what else is new. Had a great conversation with the guys from members only last week. They're super excited to come in. They are bringing all of their amazing sound equipment and light show and smoke machines and all that stuff. So if you're holding the golden VIP ticket, you'll have a different wristband than everybody else. So that way you can easily be identified as VIP. But then you're welcome to come join us for members only. They're going to bring the house down on Friday night. On Saturday night, we're going to do it all again with an incredible band out of Fayetteville, Arkansas, The Juice. If you were at the Big Iron Overland Rally in September, you got to see both of these bands. Everybody liked them so much that we decided to do it again. If you haven't bought tickets yet, make sure you jump into one of our Storytellers social media pages. They are all offering a 10% discount code. So this year we've got 50 Storytellers that will be attending. People from all over the United States, some of the most interesting people that I could imagine being able to just walk around and visit with. The real nice thing about Storyteller Row which is presented by and couldn't be done without Rollercam. But the real nice thing about Storyteller Row is that this is a place where you can walk around, you can check out rigs, you can talk shop, you can see some new equipment, maybe some vendors that aren't participating at the expo, but you can still check out some of their gear. And you can do all this without being going shopping. It's, it's kind of a nice break from hitting booth to booth, although I love doing that. It's just kind of fun for me. But you can you can swing through check out Storyteller Row presented by Rollercam and chat with these guys. They are all also champ running a fundraising champion championship. I They all have a fundraising page with 100% of the proceeds going to NCMEC, which is the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. This year we partnered with them to get the most out of More Expo and our Storyteller Row. So that way we could give back and do some good in the world. NCMEC is absolutely essential. for everything that it takes when a child goes missing. If you've ever got an Amber Alert on your phone, that's NCMEC. They do that. It's not a government-funded anything. It's strictly these guys. So they're they're in a child trafficking and take it down is huge. So all the exploitation and then all the missing stuff. So it's, it's just a fantastic initiative to get behind. So all right, well, let's see, I don't think I have any other new updates. Actually, you know what I do have one camping on the RV spot side is getting close to being sold out. So is VIP ticket and SMOORE to More. So the three additions to just the general admission ticket are getting to the point where we'll probably see them all sell out by the end of the week. So if you haven't yet, make sure you grab your spot. I hate for anybody to miss out. If I could make the property larger, I would. All right, now without further ado, I would love to bring on Miss Cindy Pope, if she's around. You're still here?
Cindy: Cool. I'm still here.

Chris: How's the party in the green room?

Cindy: Speaking of the storytellers?

Chris: Yeah, Cotty Wample. All right. Those are great friends of ours, too. Oh, how are you doing?

Cindy: Ladies first. I'm great. I'm excited. It's great to see you smiling. I know it's been stressful for you. I cannot imagine as an event host myself, I cannot imagine what you do for all of this. Oh my God. It just blows my mind, Chris.

Chris: It's cool. Fortunately, I have the luxury of it being my full-time job. I always consider myself having two jobs, you know, one more expo and, and second is really first is family and second is more expo, but, um, it's nice. It, it might be 15 hour days from January to April, but, uh, I couldn't, couldn't think of a better way to spend it.

Cindy: Heck yeah. This is my full-time job too. So you're like my only coworker, except, you know, the people that volunteer at my events, like that's it. And then you,

Chris: It's, you know, it's funny, when I was in car sales, or forklift sales, or when I was a technician, it was always easy to find somebody that could relate to you. And you could talk about work, wherever it may have been, whatever you were doing, if you're building houses, or, or, you know, firing potatoes out of cannon, it's just, but being doing the the show promotion stuff, it's There's definitely a lot less people, but I will tell you that I've made some fantastic friends doing it that also do what we do. You're one of them. Absolutely. Absolutely. Yeah. I love that. We open up to any events that want to come in to MOORE Expo and promote theirs because why not? I would love it if they let me come in, you know, that kind of thing. So it's, uh, yeah, it's great. What's, um, what's the weather like up North?

Cindy: Uh, it was very cold and rainy today and just a couple of hours, uh, North, uh, it was snowing and we're going to get snow later this week.

Chris: I thought there was some snow in your future. We're, uh, we're just, just on the brink of spring. I think we had our first kind of like thunderstorm and light rain today, while it maintained above 70.

Cindy: Yeah, it's on its way.

Chris: Yeah, that's super nice. Well, for those of you listening, and I gave a little bit of an intro earlier, but Cindy Pope is the Editor-in-Chief for the Momentum Magazine publication. Momentum Magazine is your guide to the MOORE Expo. So you will see features from all of our vendors in there. You'll see floor plan, you'll see class schedule, some amazing articles from some brilliant minds that are all friends of ours. What I love about this, Cindy, is just how connected everybody is that's in this book. Just look at that row of contributors for the featured articles. They're all friends. It's cool. We haven't had to go out and really buy articles or anything like that. Everybody's just so great at participating in this.

Cindy: Yeah. And that's what's sad for me is there's we only have so many pages there. You know, there could be so much more and we have to be very, you know, particular or, you know, very precise in what we're choosing there. And and very grateful for everyone that that contributed this year. It's amazing.

Chris: So what's it like making this book? for MOORE Expo. I know you're busy, but give us a run through. How do you do it? What's the magic behind this? What's your day look like when you're working on it?

Cindy: First of all, thank you again for allowing me, trusting me to put this together for the MOORE Expo. It means a lot to me and I think it's just awesome that you that it's not just, oh, here's a guide with a map and whatever. You know, you really feel like the value of your event also includes extras inside that magazine. So thank you again for, you know, having that vision and for allowing me to execute it. For me, it works out really great because, you know, you have seasons where you're really busy. You have times where you're nuts. You know, and we start on this back in October. We start, you and I and Jeannie start building the, you know, the framework and talking about who, you know, we'd like to see in there and what we're going to do. So, you know, I spend, you know, parts of my days going through that. Then in January, I start to panic spending a lot more time on it each day, you know, the emailing with people, you know, putting together graphic packages or assets for them. Cause not everybody submits an ad, you know, we, we make some for them. And then, you know, talking to the people that are putting the, you know, the content together. for the Rebel Rally participants article. I made a form. I sent it out to them. It had questions. And I'm pretty proud of being able, after the Gales Senate, you know, filled it out, I was like, holy crap, this is so much information and content. It's all amazing. I did have to edit some of them down, but I think I got like 85, 90% of their comments in there, which was, you know, really great, considering they really put a lot of effort into that. I remember Katie is like, you know, writing this, like, epistle just really digging into it. And at the end, I asked her, you know, how do you feel about Chris and the more expo? You know, how has that, you know, worked into your environment? And she's like, Oh, my God, Chris is great. Everything's great. I'm tired. I'll call you later. So much into that, and then got to the end and saw the finish line is like, I'm done. Love you, girl. Bye. Let's chat.

Chris: Yeah.

Cindy: So but yeah, um, Uh, it's a crazy, like this is March the month before the expo. And so, you know, I've got to get the print copy ready. I've got to get the digital copy ready, which are two different entities because I, I can't put all the links into the print copy cause it makes it wonky for printing. Um, and so February 1st, I have my own magazine to push out and then I've got two others to get done. And then March 1st, like the last 30 days have been nuts for me. Um, but it's been awesome. And, uh, I was able to sleep today for about four hours.

Chris: Yes.

Cindy: Good. So, but what about for you? I know that you've got, you, you tell me you wake up super early. You've got things to do around, you know, family situation. You've got, you know, all the phone calls and emails and, and everything. Yeah. Your schedule's probably busier than mine.

Chris: The, if you want to look behind the scenes in the life of, uh, what it takes to, to pull more expo and everybody together, um, I have to preface this by saying I do not do all of this by myself. I have an amazing marketing team, Waypoint Creative out of Phoenix, Arizona. Jason's been with me for going on three years now. So any of the beautiful designs, the graphics, the logos for MOORE Expo or Big Iron, the website, you know, our our Facebook content and ads and all of that kind of stuff, the email marketing, any of that goes through Waypoint and they they do a fantastic job. And then I've got, you know, for operations, I've got Rhino and an amazing staff, many of them family, and many of them close enough friends that they might as well be family. I'll tell you what, by the end of the event, we're all pretty much brother and sister.

Cindy: I was going to say, I thought you were going to say we're all pretty much done with each other.

Chris: No, we all go to dinner and hang out.

Cindy: I got to say thanks to some of your family members and like Rhino, your mom, and I'm so sorry. I think her name is Christy or Kayla. I'm so sorry. My old brain doesn't work sometimes, so forgive me. But they, as far as the magazine goes, when I've got that copy ready, I have looked at it a hundred million times and I don't see it anymore. And so it's very helpful to me, and I thank them so much for helping proofread that. There were things that were like, you know, very minor and small that they were picking out, and I want them to nitpick it. And it was awesome that they found those nitpicky things. There were some that were kind of obvious and dumb, but it's a team effort to get that thing ready for presentation. And I was very, very thankful to them.

Chris: I think you're thinking of Kyla Knight.

Cindy: Yes, that's who I'm thinking. I'm so sorry. I can't wait to meet you, Kyla. I'm so sorry. I couldn't remember your name. I'll forget it still because that's just the way I go.

Chris: You know, and that's another thing where everybody comes together. The majority of the ad space in Momentum Magazine, that is handled by the one and only Mama Holloway. That is my mother that is calling all these companies and offering space and in Momentum magazine. So that's super cool. And I mean, that there's, there's no secret that's sold ad space. That's what pays for this magazine to be made is the ad space that we put in there. So there, there would not be a magazine without her helping out with that. So many thanks, mom.

Cindy: I love working with her. She's, um,

Chris: Yeah, so, so big help, big support from so many places, even, you know, even my accounting, my CFO, Christina Adele, she's amazing. I know you work with her too. I think I took her your way. I you did. Yeah, that was your referral. This is all just one big happy family, but I wouldn't be able to do it without without people like her help. And so I've got all this wonderful, wonderful crew and wonderful people I can count on. Uh, my job is really just in the background to take the information or the request or the need and get that information to where it needs to go. So it can be executed. Um, you know, so the, the summer months fortunately are, are, uh, fairly quiet for me. That's kind of the creative, uh, you know, what can we do bigger? What can we do better months for me? Um, and then really as soon as, um, let's see, as soon as July, end of July, uh, first of August hit, then it's, it's crunch time to get rolling. Uh, but the real fun part is, is January 5th until April 19th, because then I am in my office. Uh, you guys can't see, but I've got four huge screens that all have my different tools and gizmos on them to keep everything normal. Uh, you can imagine having 300 vendors and, uh, trying to keep everything straight with booth number size, um, you know, the correct length, the correct logo and all of that stuff. And, uh, spreadsheets are my friend. I have, it'd be nice if I can condense them all, but I have like 19 spreadsheets that What if one thing happens, they all get updated. So nice. Yeah. And you know, we're just just pushing but up until more expo, it's, it's an honest 14 hour day every day. But the the nice thing is, you know, and there's not a lot of show owners or promoters that do this. You call the number on the website, it comes to me. I'm taking it all. And it's, it's funny, people get, they're always surprised to hear from you, but who else are you going to hear from? Nobody else can answer the questions. or give you the information that you need.

Cindy: Right, right. You're the guy. You're the one with the vision and the plan and you're the the buck stops with you and you might as well.

Chris: And I like talking to people. So call me.

Cindy: I give your phone number out all the time.

Chris: So I've been I've been signing up for all kinds of free win this stuff. Oh, great. Lee, will you pull the magazine up? I want to flip through a few pages and just kind of look at some stuff. Uh, let's see. So our, our first, um, our first entry let's, let's go page two. Oh, that's nice and slow. Um, but this, uh, let's see. It's a little glitchy there. There we go. Um, guys, this, this beginning portion, this is, uh, just kind of a, a table of context or, or index, if you will. Um, but just, just a quick way to find a few things that you might need to, uh, specifically the articles that we have written. So, so jump in, check that out. There's, there's me with my Midland radio. I don't, I don't have a vehicle or a camper trailer that doesn't have one in it. Awesome. But flip on through Lee, slowly and I'll, I'll holler at you when we need to stop. We've got a great ad. I love that one for the recovery room.

Cindy: I made that one. I'm so proud of it.

Chris: Here's a, here's a good, um, just kind of about us and kind of, uh, in cap, in capitalization. Did I say that word right?

Cindy: Encapsulating.

Chris: of the Expo.

Cindy: And note they're celebrating five years of bringing the Midwest Adventure community together. I mean, congratulations on that. I know when we hit five years at core, I was super proud of it. And I felt, you know, like five years of doing this after the first year of me giving you hell on the telephone, you know, you made it. Isn't it neat?

null: I love it. Yeah, it's wild.

Chris: So yeah, you'll you'll see some some great ads in here. All the the vast majority, I'd say 99% of any of the ads that you see in here are from vendors at more Expo roller cam sponsoring storyteller row. They have some incredible products. This is a good a good kind of summary of how We partnered RollerCam and the storytellers with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. So make sure you take a peek at that.

Cindy: And just for people watching this who might not have gone to read the magazine before, when you turn the page and something flashes, that means it's a clickable link. Sometimes you'll see a line of text light up, and sometimes the whole image will light up, sometimes just a spot. That's just to let you know if you want to learn more, you can click on that, and it'll go right to their website, which is a really cool feature, I think, is gives the the advertisers that extra persuasion to get behind this, because they know that people looking at it, it's so easy to learn more, learn more, you know, visit our website. And it's fun.

Chris: Yeah, very convenient. So tell us about this trip planning in the little box up the top right, but I like this article.

Cindy: Yeah, our friend Don has actually, in this month's issue of my magazine, he's got a really cool article about protection while overlanding, you know, pew pew, spray and all that stuff. But I just loved how he was so thoughtful and broke everything down, almost engineer-like or, you know, in a flow sheet where I've had people tell me, I don't even know where to start. You know, do I start like finding a spot to go to or a route or an area of interest? You know, what if I'm going with more people? How do you plan that? And he's got spreadsheet that, um, if you like spreadsheets, Chris, um, I never said I liked him. Yeah. He's got those where, you know, you can input, you know, things down to as simple as, you know, your meal plan, how many people are coming, who's bringing what, you know, like if five of you are going somewhere, do five of you need to bring your scottle or one?

Chris: You're right.

Cindy: So yeah, flip again, Lee, I think there's another page there with a little screenshot of the spreadsheets that there's a little QR code, you can click right to it too. Oh, no way. Yeah. So Yeah, just really thoughtful and just a comprehensive overview of how you could use your data and your lists to make a trip better, to put them in a structure that makes sense and is easy to follow. I hope I'm getting that right, Don. But yeah, I was just super, super thrilled with that article and when we were looking for stuff for more, you know, my tiny little magazine doesn't get that much reach. It does, but I felt it really deserved a place here.

Chris: I love it. And I like others pre-trip during the trip and post-trip covered. Yeah. The post-trip logging and paying attention after your trip is really should count as planning for your next trip. I recently got an app called Adventure Curated. I've seen that one. I've been playing with it. Actually, I'm kind of playing with it now for more than just trips. I'm starting to upload all of my show gear and equipment, you know, the banners, the floor tape. Oh, wow, like an inventory. Yeah. And I'm starting to use that. And then I can I can set it up. So if I have more expo or big iron or the RV and boat show or any of those, I can just open this. Uh, I use it, I use it on, on my desktop. I believe there's an app. I haven't tried it on my phone, but, uh, so I can just pull up, Hey, I'm going to more expo and it'll say, these are all the things from your inventory that you need to pack.

Cindy: Oh, so it's like a trip planning, app where you put in like I have a tent and I have a canopy and I have a grill or I have this. Yeah. I need those when I go on X type of trip. Yeah. And you'll be able to check off cause I, I need to make lists, man. I forget everything. Yeah. Same.

Chris: If I don't have a list, I'm just going with maybe my belt. If I can remember to put that on in the morning.

Cindy: Well, and not to give Jada and them more, stay right back there, Lee, more advertising than they deserve. They deserve so much. They're so awesome. They have that right there on that page. You can log your adventures on the All Roads Taken app. It's an app. It's not just for buying a badge. It's also for logging your adventures so that you don't forget, you know, was it 2021 when we did this one trip? Where did we go? And you can log all those on there and have like a journal of your travels, which I think is super cool.

Chris: Yep. And I love the more and the more and more badges. I have the first ones.

Cindy: Nice. We're going to have those for core and overland the red.

Chris: Yeah. These are super cool. I love them. I've got, I've probably got a dozen or so collected already, but between those and pocket knives, I think I've got enough. stuff to collect.

Cindy: They don't cost as much as pocket knives.

Chris: No, they don't. Well, I don't know. Figure the cost of the trip in.

Cindy: Right. That's true. You don't go just to get the badge. You get the badge because you did.

Chris: I've got all the comebacks on how to justify collecting pocket knives.

Cindy: Oh, I bet.

Chris: That's a constant conversation. Oh, CB Adventure Supply. They're fantastic. They have a huge booth at the expo. I think it's like 20 by 140. And they're bringing in just all kinds of cool stuff. four wheel campers. Oh, this is a four wheel campers ad. Yeah, they're they've got four wheel campers booth in their monopoly of of booth spaces over there in the East Hall. And then Adventure Motors is your local dealer for four-wheel campers if you're close in the area. Nice. Click on through, Leigh. These girls are trouble.

Cindy: Oh man, I, that's another thing because of Moore that I've, that's, I think I've met Kara at Moore for the first time. I'm pretty sure I met Katie for the first time there. I just really wanted to, like you said, it's a community, we've all become friends. And these four ladies are doing some amazing, awesome things. And I think they have really great insight on how to do the hard things because the Rebel Rally is not a walk in the park. how to, you know, all about attitudes and community and supporting each other. You know, sometimes women can be clicky and, you know, I don't know. I just feel like their wholesome attitude just shines and is part of their, part of their success is that, you know, they have no, there's no agenda, there's no scheme. It's all love and community. And I just, adore them and they've been mentors for me and inspiration to me as well.

Chris: I am just so proud to have four competitors in that rally from our group. It's really awesome. This will be, I believe, year number three for Katie and Lisa. Yep. And this is the first year for the ladies from Grit and Grace.

Cindy: Yeah, last year, Katie and Kara and Danielle came to my Midwest Women's Off-Road Weekend. And there were, there was a lot of newbies there. But they spoke to everybody about the Rebel Rally. I think they inspired some people to think about that, to start on their journey. I know there's two ladies that came that I'm pretty sure in the future will. And I felt like, wow, what a great incubator and a great bunch of gals to stoke the fires and the passion for that kind of thing. It's just, it feels like it's growing from a whisper to a roar.

Chris: Yeah, no doubt. I hope to see more, more competitors from our group. or our area, I don't know, what do you even call it? Our community?

Cindy: Yeah. I mean, it's not an area as much as it is just a gathering of people all over. Yeah.

Chris: Yeah. I'm super excited about that. So we, MOORE Expo sponsors both of those teams, which makes me like, this, how cool is that? The, you know, the, this little event five years ago and And now we get, now we get to be featured on Rebel Rally vehicles and those teams. It's so cool. That's awesome. So that's fantastic.

Cindy: Oh, thank you Danielle. I'm so sad that Danielle and Kara aren't going to be able to be at the Women's, Midwest Women's Off-Road Weekend. They've got Rebel training going on, but Katie, Abraham is coming and she's going to be our 4x4 instructor. So we're super thrilled about that. And can't wait for that.

Chris: Thanks, Danielle. I found a typo in the magazine. Oh, really? Yeah. The dates on Bighorn.

Cindy: Hey, I did not create that. No, you did not. I put in what was submitted by your team. I don't mean to pass the buck, but… My team put the dates on that I helped them.

Chris: So my fault.

Cindy: We can change that in the digital. Just get it over to me. Print may be harder, but it might not be impossible. I'll check with Kelton tomorrow.

Chris: Oh yeah. We'll have it on the website. It's… It's all right. I think but we can darn sure give it a shot. It's, it's September 27 through 28. So we're not far off that.

Cindy: Okay, so somebody gets there on the 28th or daylight.

Chris: And they're gonna have a party. Yeah, it's gonna be good. Cooking smart from some smart cooking people.

Cindy: Yeah, I asked Joey to put something together and he whipped out a bunch of recipes. How awesome is that? Yeah.

Chris: What do we have in here? Uh, we have an appetizer, main course and a dessert.

Cindy: Yeah.

Chris: That's, that's a home run once. What are the, what do they call it in the server industry? You get an appetizer, a main course, a dessert and a cocktail. It's a, it's like a home run. Yeah, homerun.

Cindy: Yeah, hit for the cycle. I don't know.

Chris: That's great. No, I appreciate that. Love it. Because all what I'll do is I'll write the book and that'll be my shopping list. MB court, they're back. This is this is their fifth year they've been with us five years so great to have them in looks like they've got a 30% off code which if anybody knows equipment.

Cindy: That's fantastic.

Chris: Yeah, I actually need that subwoofer. So yeah, when you're buying sound equipment, 30% off is nothing to balk at. Radio Chatter. Who are these guys? I know, but I'll let you tell us.

Cindy: Well, there are a couple out of Michigan. um and the cool thing was they thought you know when we're riding around in convoys or whatever on the trail with new people and that radio silence gets a little awkward um they came up with you know, a little card deck with questions that you could ask. It's really neat. Like, you know, what's the one thing, what's next on your build list is a very simple one. But you know, more ones that get you thinking and getting, get you to know the other person or the other people. You know, what's the one thing you wish you hadn't done? Or what's the one piece of gear that you bought that you never bring? Or what's next? Oh, I love the one if you could go on a trip with any person living or dead, you know, you have to think about it. And the answers are funny. I'm going to tell you, too, my husband, he's not really into this whole camping off road overland thing. But when we were up at KOAR last year, we had a deck and every night we all shared this cabin up at Trails End. Every night he asked our friend Nick, Nick, ask some questions. Who is this? person. And what have you done with my husband?

Chris: Why are you participating?

Cindy: Every night? He's like, Nick, it's time for questions.

Chris: That's fun. You know, we ought to do a radio chat or podcast.

Cindy: You should, you should. We actually have every month in the magazine, Paul, he goes into the Northology community group and he'll put a question in there and the community answers it. And then we put that in the magazine for people that might not have seen it in the group. It's really fun. This month it was, what do you do to help like I can't remember exactly how it was but it was about meal prep for camping since that was kind of our focus of this issue and people had some wonderful suggestions from hello fresh deliveries taken in your refrigerator to you know prepping things ahead of time and stuff but it's fun they have a new deck out though I see they've been pushing this it's called radio chatter after dark and it's not safe for radio Oh, and you know, you should probably check it out. We might be playing that at Camp Northology after dark down at Moore.

Chris: Yeah. I want to get my hands on one of those decks. Nice. Uh, so the, the crew from radio chatter will actually be hanging out in the Midland radio booth, which is a booth. Number one, of course, uh, West hall. As soon as you walk in, you'll see nothing but Midland on your right side. And I believe that Midland has co-branded some decks. Oh, nice. And we'll be giving away Radio Chatter decks with purchase of a bass unit, maybe.

Cindy: What a great synergy or collaboration, though. I mean, it's a natural.

Chris: told Andrew Midland, because I was just down there, you know, their, their headquarters is like 20 minutes from my house, which is awesome. If it wasn't, it would cost me through the nose and shipping. But I was in there in his office, and he showed me the decks that it just makes such perfect sense radio chatter, like, yeah, Midland. Okay. Yeah, I love it. So that's great. And then here's a great ad beautiful watercolor. Did you paint this?

Cindy: Um, I did not paint it. This is a digital creation of mine.

Chris: So, Lee, I might chime in, but I, when I saw this, I told Cindy, it looks like a Michael Hyden.

Cindy: Oh, you're too kind. I thought the same thing. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Well, the funny thing is too, is the vehicle looks just like my friend Ben's XJ and it looks like Trails End Campground. And I just, I'm going to actually take all the text off of it and print it out and just hang it up in my office.

Chris: I think you did a great job. Totally. Thank you, Lee. You can probably, I know the spot it trails in where this picture would be taken from. You should get that photo as close to it as you can and see what you can do. That's cool.

Cindy: Yeah, Keira, you are so right about Midland. She just popped up with a comment thanking them and telling how great they are. They have sent us radios for our team, not just for managing the check-in at Camp Northology at Moore Expo. But, you know, now we'll have that to use throughout the year. We all had our personal radios. They're all different. Everybody's charger is different. You forget whose is whose. But now we've got a nice set. that's going to live in a little Zargis case and it'll go to all the events. Thank you so much, Andrew and the team over there at Midland for putting that together for us. And then every year they ship us swag donations for KOAR and Overland the Red and our other smaller events.

Chris: I really appreciate them. They did exactly what I love seeing is they They found this community decided they love it. I mean, they've got so many other is that they service but holy cow Midland. It's like, do you guys have anybody working on anything else? Because it's all I mean, they just they're so hyper-focused on the overland and camping and off-road community.

Cindy: Yeah. I mean, think about, you know, the business communications, the agricultural communications, all that sort of stuff. You know, overlanding has to be such a small part of their business, but they really, really, um, they really care and they really make it about the community.

Chris: They do. You know, with their, with their sponsorship of SMOORE to MOORE, that's how we're able to make it such an amazing, uh,

Cindy: an amazing route, which I want to do that so bad, but I have to work that weekend. It is done.

Chris: Stamped, sealed, approved, reran 15 times. Everything works. Uh, the route is 86 miles on B and

Cindy: Brandon a shout out for a minute here. Yeah, I feel you know like You can camp at SMOORE or you can camp at Camp Narthology. And there has never been one speck of anything that he's been so supportive. Every time I post something, he reposts it, loves it, shares it, likes it. What a sweet guy. And my regret is that I am at Moore and not at S'more during that time. And I swear I'm going to come out there and I'm going to bring a whole passel of weirdos and we're going to hoop it up down at S'more one of these days.

Chris: I know. I didn't get a chance to get down there. Last year, just other than planning for some more tomorrow, which we don't get to go play, but I've got my Jeep is dialed in. So it is ready for a big shakedown run. And that's nice. Yeah, nice. Yeah. So yeah, all right. Well, let's Oh, breakthrough auto modulation. This was a good one.

Cindy: Yeah. Aaron from switchback. Another one of our favorite, favorite people of all time. Like every time I ask him to write something, he says, yes. Thank you so much, Aaron, for not only taking care of that, uh, education program at more, but for being so kind and thoughtful to write this up for us. And, uh, you know, basically, um, give us an educational seminar in the magazine.

Chris: This one's great too, because it's, it's not, it's something that I practice and use, but never something I would have thought that we'd see, you know, uh, and not, not discrediting Aaron at all, but I would have expected a winching technique or a high lift jack or, or something, you know, it's like, all right, Hey, give me five off-road recovery classes go. and brake-throttle modulation just does not come to mind.

Cindy: But it's so important to know, even, I mean, even if you're just winter driving and trying to get up your driveway in some snow or something like that, but it's… I feel it's like one of those things that people that really know how to drive don't have to be told, but there's a lot of us that, you know, aren't new to it or are unfamiliar with that. You know, I mean, back when we drove manual, when everybody drove manual transmissions, it was probably a little more, um, thoughtful, I don't know, I just feel like it was something that, oh, yeah, that's like a no brainer, but not everybody knows.

Chris: Yeah, no, no, you can, you can probably grab a half a dozen people at Moore Expo and ask them to explain brake throttle modulation. And, and you may get half that that can actually articulate it. But there's, there's a very great resource in here for that. What's next, Lee? What else we got in here?

Cindy: Oh, this was fun. Talking about putting it together. That's just awesome. It was great that on the website you can sort it by course type, location, and time. Is that how it goes?

Chris: Yes, you can also support by instructor instructor.

Cindy: Yep. I wanted this to be something where on site people obviously they're having the print copy in their hand. They've got, you know, they're tired. They want to know, okay, what's, we're here. What's going on now? I want to go to a class. What's going on? Can I, should I do this one, this one or this one? And they can just look right there. And the yellow is the more courses. The black is the VIP courses. And then the red is the power sports.

Chris: So that's something I wanted to touch on too. The, The classes that are going on up at the Power Sports Expo are, they're deep. There's like some major industry knowledge coming in. Some of it's kind of, you know, B2B, but some of this stuff is amazing. And one that I love And this is good for if there are any vendors or business owners, listening to this is the sponsorship stuff. So Kristen Allmer is actually my mentor when it comes to sponsorships and activations. She was my private coach in this for over a year. uh, with weekly meetings and she'd give me homework assignments and all of that. Like she knows her stuff. She's been, she's been in the, in the power sports and automotive industry for 35 years, uh, handling sponsorships. So she's got a class on Friday and one on Saturday. Uh, one of them is a class geared towards if you want to get sponsored, here are things you need to know. Here's how to go approach potential sponsees. Here's what they care about. Here's what they don't care about. Don't fill their inbox full of junk. And here's how to deliver on your promises. The flip side of that, she's got another class where if you are like I am, or so many of us, consistently being approached to, to sponsor things. How do you know if it's a good deal or if you should take it or not, you know, starting out, it was easy for me because it's, it's all my friends. You know, we're very small circle, but, you know, right now you, you

Cindy: can't know everything. And you have to use your tools and your wits and your, you know, discernment to figure out which are good avenues to pursue.

Chris: And some of these companies, you know, Midland Radio is a perfect example. Think about how many times in a day they get an email for a sponsorship. You know, so it's, it's just a Really, if I was trying to go get sponsored, I would attend both classes. That way I could know what I could do on my end, but then I could also know what they're looking for on their end.

Cindy: Smart cookie, Chris. That's why you're where you are.

Chris: Yeah. Well, I have attended both classes for

Cindy: Nice, nice.

Chris: Yeah, probably twice a week for for, I think, 16 months. So but I mean, that's she's she's absolutely fantastic. And I can tell you right now, if those are 50 minute courses, she's going to keep you there for an hour and a half. Bring a notepad. Yeah, I don't I don't get on the phone with Kristen without a notepad. make sure my pen has plenty of ink. And I'll tell you what, I easily burn through two pages, sometimes three every time we talk. I believe it. I believe it. Unbelievable. So yeah, the classes are all phenomenal. There are the VIP classes. in black. Those are 90-minute courses. They are instructed by I4WDTA certified trainers. They are absolutely an added value, a huge addition to Moore Expo this year. We brought in, so we have a Subaru that we got from a junkyard.

Cindy: Yes, I heard about this.

Chris: This is cool. We'll be flipping it over with the skid steer and then teaching you how to correct it and flip it back over safely, which is something that probably everybody should know. We're a little bit more susceptible and prone to that than most. We've got, I ordered 20,000 pounds of shredded tire mulch. Oh my God. Uh, it's, it's easily a dump truck full.

Cindy: My question on that, where are you going to store that in the off season? Are you going to keep it for next year? What the heck?

Chris: So the fairgrounds said that they've got a place that I can keep it for now. Ah, nice. But under the, uh, under the pretense that if they need the space and they call me to get rid of it, I need to come get it. So we we have a backup plan. We contacted the city of Springfield and said, Hey, should we need to get rid of this 20,000 pounds of shredded tire mulch? Do you have anywhere we can donate it? And they said, we're always building playgrounds. Oh, yeah. You know, it seems like Like they can find a place for it within a week or so. Uh, we could donate it to a playground. So that's awesome. So it's sitting there safe for next year. Uh, but yeah, you never know. I, if I have to donate it, then I'll donate it. I tried to look around the house to see, but I just, yeah, no, let's see the adventure portal. Um, these guys are, our index sponsor and floor plan sponsor. Andy was on the podcast just a few weeks ago. Very, very brilliant and easy to talk to gentleman who also has a fantastic publication online. The Adventure Portal is a great place to go kind of get gear, gadgets, reviews.

Cindy: Just the amount and the variety of information on that website blows my mind. I can't wait to meet Andy. He's also one of the sponsors for the Camp Northology swag bags. Thank you very much for that. I've just blown away. I can't wait. And I've got like a thousand questions for him. Did you see some of the, the trip guides that he's got on there? I know it's just insane. So everybody needs to go check out that website.

Chris: Yep. Theadventureportal.com. And then here is our floor plan and index. So this is cool. Uh, the floor plan, this is, this is the indoor, uh, make sure everybody, knows that we've got, um, this is, so this is, uh, let's see, this is like 25% of more expo and then outside in the power sports expo makeup, the other 75%.

Cindy: So that's just insane, dude, because at first look at that little tiny West hall, that is all that more was the first year. That's right. Yeah. Nuts. I'm so proud of you.

Chris: You were in a, you were in booth number five over that corner, weren't you with TC?

Cindy: Yes, I was right next to the, the seminar room, that one tiny room where Aaron was going nuts, uh, getting people in and out of there and organizing everything. We got to watch him all weekend, work his ass off.

Chris: Yup. And now he's running four classrooms that are twice the size of that little room. Uh, the, the entire outdoor, training area, and his booth. So yeah, he'll, he'll be busier than a one arm paper hanger. But yeah, this, this is all indoor and outdoor on the second page here. So our outdoor vendor space, the main entrance to it, yeah, zoom on up there. This is the overall map so that way you guys can see where the campground is, Camp Northology. Hiker Trailer will have several of their trailers and their Trailer owners in in the big building. They call it the central building up there on the hill.

Cindy: So VIP stuff and the hiker hangout was last year. Yeah, but the VIP stuff is in the classrooms this year Yeah, the gatherings the after parties.

Chris: Yeah, but do do stop in and say hi to the hiker crew They're gonna be having fun in there. No doubt. That's gonna be a good time and if it's if we get any kind of inclement weather and They're indoors. It's an open air building, but they are inside. So if you want to go hang out in a place where it's not raining, if it is, then that's a good spot to go hang out. And then Power Sports Expansion is up there on the hill, the south side of the property. That is a brand new 100,000 square foot arena. They just completed construction in September. Um, but that is going to be absolutely awesome. We've got it packed wall to wall with, with everything. Power sports there, uh, kayaks, there are, um, dirt bikes, moto, uh, scooters, one wheels, uh, side by side, personal watercraft. Um, we've even got. a like a full-size wakeboat in there like a nice wakeboat.

Cindy: I'm excited to see that Landmoto that electric motorcycle.

Chris: Landmoto is in there with their electric moto yeah.

Cindy: And I think I think TC is in there they have trailers where you can haul your bikes.

Chris: That's right. Lee will you go back to that page one just real quick. Let's see I also wanted to mention the outdoor beer garden. up here by booth number 231. Let's see.

Cindy: Scroll up, yeah.

Chris: So in the outdoor beer garden, it's those top six booths. So 231, 208 through 235, 212. You won't miss it. There's a huge tent. That is Expedition Trailers booth. And they were kind enough to to offer to host that. So if you're out walking a lot and you're ready for a cold drink, I think they'll have beer, seltzers, sodas, water, stuff like that. So pop in there and grab a beverage. And then for anybody else that might be wondering where the food is, where it says MOORE Expo Map, just above that P, there is a… It's off the book, Lee, so you don't have to go looking for it. But there is a cafe there that's open 7 a.m. For breakfast until 5 p.m.

Cindy: So You're gonna have the patch wall back, right?

Chris: Yeah, we get the patch wall back. It's uh, it's it needs vacuumed It lived in my basement while we redid the hardwood floor So every time they shot nails into the hardwood floor it it blow out wood into the bottom and it's just, yeah, but I'll, I'll have that cleaned up. Yeah. Take a patch, leave a patch. Um, so all of our campers, if you guys didn't know this, uh, when you come in and check in for your campsite, you get a swag bag too. And it's thanks to Cindy for putting it all together. And then all of these sponsors up here, uh, for contributing to it. So, um, So be excited about that. That's going to be very, very cool. There's always some fun, fun stuff in there. Absolutely. This has got to be the most time consuming, um, page for you.

Cindy: I can't even tell you. Lee, keep, keep scrolling. I'm having PTSD.

Chris: But we, we put all of our vendors in there. They, uh,

Cindy: with a note so that way yeah and it's not just a listing in our booth number if we do have that where the map is but you know just a little description for anybody perusing or sitting between classes or you know wanting to learn just a little bit more uh and again on the digital version there's clickable links push on through lee let's see what else we've got because it's going to be indexed for a while we have a lot of energy Yeah, we got to get to the power sports portion of the magazine. And while he's scrolling through that, I'm going to tell everybody what this crazy idea, this guy came to me and said, let's make a magazine for the more expo on one side. It's the more expo, but we're not going to make two magazines for the power sports expo. We're going to flip it over. So one, there's two magazines and they're upside down from each other. Yeah.

Chris: Who would do such a thing? Oh, this featured product gallery. Um, there's some, there's some great stuff in here. Like the Fittipaldi wheels. Uh, my, my friend Brandon just put a set of those on his Jeep actually.

Cindy: Beautiful.

Chris: Um, did you see this, this newer company?

Cindy: Yes, that is an actual stove. It's an induction stove. It blew my mind. It's battery powered.

Chris: So, so you just charge it up and take it with you. And then you don't have to plug in or anything. You just cook on an induction cooktop. You know, if you're camping out of a swag, whatever it may be. Pretty, pretty amazing. So I'm really excited to see that booth and see those in action. We need music for the for the gaps while we're going through pages.

Cindy: Oh, there's a couple of handsome fellas.

Chris: Yeah, I remember doing that. That was a lot of fun. So if anybody's looking for some fun three ingredient or less campfire cocktails, Chad Boyd and I went out with my mother and some other friends. And we made a 20 video series on 20 different cocktails that you can make with three ingredients or less.

Cindy: I want to know, well, Brandon Braxton filmed that, right?

Chris: He did.

Cindy: Did he get any drinks or was you and Chad just drinking it up and letting him film?

Chris: So every time a drink was like, if there was a video for an old fashion, you know, in the video, we're just making two old fashions, but we really had to make four of them. And Chad and I had to stay somewhat sober for these. So, uh, you know, I think we were shooting, I think we shot six or eight videos a day and, you know, we're, we're sampling and having little tests during. Um, but we couldn't drink them and. You know, there's, there's movie props and you know, you can use tea for whiskey and no way I went and bought a case of the real stuff, like all the real stuff. Um, so that's, that's why my mom and sir William, uh, from sir William goes, uh, they, when we were done, they just had empty cups out and we just dump them in their cup. Oh no. By the end of each night, they were both feeling no pain. Lee was there too. Lee sampled a few of them, but I think the lion's share went to Will and my mother. That's hilarious. Braxton had a job to do. He wasn't participating. He was working on the job, Braxton. He's very professional. He's not messing around. So yeah, that was a lot of fun. And just so everybody knows, The whole reason we did that is to help promote the Overland Addict Recovery Room this year presented by Tor Top Bed Covers. Be sure to stop by. Out of those 20 videos, I think six or eight of them are on the bar list at the recovery room. You can pop in and grab one of those. Let's see. Where are you at, Lee? What are we working on?

Cindy: He was looking for the recovery room addicting. Oh, I bet. I don't know why he's not on here. I like chatting with Lee, but 688 pages. I didn't correct you.

Chris: That is incredible. Keep going, keep going, push on through.

Cindy: I just love seeing all these people that have been with the expo since the beginning. It's just, you know, like TC, New Holland, X-Venture, you know. Yeah. Oh, look, there's Pulse.

Chris: Yeah. Pulse magazine. So when you guys get the actual physical copy of this, that'll be the cover on the back and you'll flip it. Because half of this magazine is going to be upside down. Thanks, Chris.

Cindy: Yeah, good idea. I love it. It's gonna be fun.

Chris: It will be good. There's there's me and, and Briar Marler. Briar is an up and coming legend in the demolition derby. uh, racing circuit. Uh, he's absolutely kicking butt. So power sports expo is sponsoring his Derby car this year.

Cindy: Oh, another thing, Brandon, whoever is doing your ad is amazing. Don't ever stop. I loved it.

Chris: That is his sister.

Cindy: Nice.

Chris: Yeah. She killed it. So this riding the wild article, um, Chris is a friend of yours, right?

Cindy: Yeah, absolutely. He's a marketing for black Rhino wheels. And I actually met him randomly. I think we were following each other on Instagram and I'd taken a solo trip up to the U.P. I was camping in the wilds along Lake Superior. There were a few other people camping there. And this guy walks down this two track that runs along the beach and he looks over and I'm wearing my Northology shirt and he's like. Are you Cindy? And I was like, oh, my God. Yeah. So we chatted and I think we knew maybe that we both were vacationing or traveling that week. So it was not, sometimes you get on the radar and you know, I might run into that person there. But we chatted and we've, you know, kept in touch since and he was at core last year with a black Rhino. He gave away a set of a five wheel set, um, as a prize. And, uh, I, I know him also for, he does a lot of moto in Wisconsin and, um, he's written for me before. And I just, I just loved that he was totally willing to contribute. Um, I feel like it just brings, you know, one more dimension into the magazine about the, you know, uh, getting the two wheel. fun in as well as the four wheel fun and he's just a great all around person.

Chris: That's great. Yep. I'm excited about that. Um, there's land. This is a, this ad on the left here is, Oh, uh, off-road products expo. They have an event, um, down in hot springs, Arkansas with some of the most wild looking power sports equipment I've ever seen in my life. Lots of mud down there.

Cindy: I have a question specifically about Ope. Is that just a Northern thing or do you guys down South know that us Northerners say Ope all the time?

Chris: It's a Midwest thing. We say it around this area, not as much as you. I can search Ope in my emails. And I'd, I'd probably come up with 30 from Cindy.

Cindy: True that.

Chris: Yeah. Yeah. You go as far as the even put them in emails. There's the, that's the floor plan for the power sports expansion.

Cindy: That is all those booths. Yeah. Amazing.

Chris: How cool is that? Uh, just absolutely insane.

Cindy: Did you hear us talking about you?

Chris: We said nice things. You have to go back to 23 minutes and 42 seconds.

Cindy: Right.

Chris: Yeah. Let's see how motor sports. Oh, this is a Cindy article.

Cindy: Yeah, I look look at that last paragraph and it'll tell you why I wrote it.

Chris: The very last paragraph of that article that overlanding lies at the intersection of motor sports and silent sports.

Cindy: I would, you know, you take your truck and you bring your kayak and you go out and, you know, you do some trails, off-road crazy things. And then you go paddleboard Lake Superior, you know, you, you, you take your Tacoma and, or whatever. And you go mountain biking. I just feel like, you know, most of the people like that come to core overland, the red love hiking. They also love, you know, kayaking or biking or, you know, in the winter they'll go cross country skiing. It's just a lot of times like there are publications dedicated just to power sports, motor sports or silent sports. But I do feel like the Overland community embraces both of those.

Chris: Really so. Yeah. And I couldn't agree more. And that's a conversation that we had with Andy from the adventure portal a couple podcasts back. Yeah, this is, you know, your vehicle is the catalyst to adventure. And what are you going to go do when you get to camps? It's funny, I always picture like the perfect weekend camping or week camping or anything like that, like, alright, I'm gonna get to camp, I'm gonna set everything up, and then I'm just gonna sit in this chair. And nobody, I'm not gonna do anything. But I can't, I picture that in my head, but it's like, no way I'm bringing the inflatable kayaks. I'm bringing the e-bike. I'm going to go hiking. We're going to go.

Cindy: Yeah. Um, that little blue trailer in the upper, right. They've got some mountain bikes on it there, but Todd has one that he makes those, the TC teardrops. He's got one that they put the year old motorcycle with the sidecar on the front platform.

Chris: Yep.

Cindy: You know, it's really awesome. But I will say, Chris, you need to look into this. I did a trip last year where we had all these plans. We were going to go up and camp on Lake Superior. We were going to do this, that, and the other thing. And we got there. And for three days, we didn't do anything. We played with the dogs. We took naps. We read. We sat around and joked around. We had cocktails. We, you know, it was at the end of the weekend. We're like, I never had so much fun doing nothing.

Chris: Yeah. So, right. That is nice. Um, let's see, keeping the gates open. Jake put this together for us, Cindy, you, you helped out with it. Uh, but this is a, This is an article that you hear a lot about trail closures and things like that. It gets more publicity with the stuff out west. But I would urge you to take a look at what's happening around us and grab an MVUM map from Arkansas, from the Ozarks. And just look at the huge amount of treasured off-road routes that have been closed.

Cindy: Yeah, and it was just with the latest update, isn't it?

Chris: Yeah, yep. I mean this is probably a month ago.

Cindy: You hear more about it out west because there is so much more BLM land, more public land out there, but that doesn't mean that it's not happening here. It affects maybe a smaller population here than it does out west, but it doesn't mean that it's right and it's public land. I just feel like more people should be more involved and aware, talk to your local forest rangers, you know, look at the, they have opportunities for you to comment on things. I do it every time the Blue Ribbon Coalition comes out with some sort of, you know, alert, please contact your congressman, they make it really easy, you tell them what state you're in, and they pop right up, it populates your district even, and I send that off and just make sure that they know that there are people. I'll tell you a story around here. In Wisconsin, there was one National Forest Trail called the Pipeline 4x4 Challenge Trail. And it was closed last year, about this time, for two years. But it's never going to be open again. And I talked to the ranger last fall at our cleanup. We did a Quadratech 50 for 50 cleanup with Tread Lightly. And he said, the squeaky wheel gets the grease. When we closed that trail, we didn't hear anything. It was crickets, which really shocked me. And so… I'm about to share a survey that I have made up basically gathering some information and some insights from people that have been affected by this locally and the fact that there is really nothing in Wisconsin other than forest roads. I mean, in Michigan, they've got trails or routes that are specifically for four-wheel drive. But yeah, get involved because things are happening and they're happening fast. And they're happening, you know, not in secret, I guess, but they're just, you know, moving quietly to do as much closure as possible with as little effort, you know, just, it's really sad.

Chris: Yeah, yeah. And the people that are out there pushing a lot of the closures aren't They're not, it doesn't affect them. They're not the ones participating. You know, they're, it almost kind of seems like they put the map up on a dartboard and chuck some boats at us.

Cindy: And then, yeah, they're closing it not just to offer vehicles, though. They're closing it to hikers. They're closing it to mountain bikers. They're closing it to e-bikers. They're closing it to pedestrians. They're closing it to people in wheelchairs.

Chris: Yeah. Yeah. So make sure everybody out there do your part. Pick up trash when you see it along the way, you know, even, even in the, this more and more rally books, we've got, uh, you know, stop and pick up a piece of trash as, as one of the items on the checklist. Um, and, and just be, be mindful, you know, don't stay, stay off the trails that are already closed, uh, that only impacts it and makes it worse. Uh, it makes an easier argument for them when they're they're kind of working.

Cindy: You know, that makes me so angry though, because it's not the most of the users that are abusing that, you know, everybody we go out with, they come back with trash or is full of crap. They pick up stuff. There are a lot of There is a small percentage of people that I wouldn't call off-roaders. They're just yahoos that don't care. There's a lot of locals that don't care. You know, they don't care when the forest road is open. If they're going to want to go down it, they do. So these are getting closed off for the people who are respectful of it because, you know, it's almost like the 2A argument.

Chris: we could definitely have an entire podcast on that topic. So maybe we should. And for those of you listening, thank you guys for hanging with us and going through Momentum Magazine. Cindy, this is your greatest one yet. How many years have you done this?

Cindy: I think we did this. Did we do this the second or the third year?

Chris: I think we started in 22. 21.

Cindy: I'm trying to think like I can I'm looking for covers like last year was the cover. I remember Matt and Kara were on the cover and all the people in front of the expo and all the words. The year before that was it that make a venture was on the cover.

Chris: And then before that was the Ozark Mountain Adventure Van.

Cindy: So it has been for so it was the second year. Yep. That's right. I remember now. Yeah. Again, thank you so much. This is awesome. You know, it's a great opportunity for me. It's, you know, it uplifts my community. Everybody up here loves coming down there and we feel so welcomed by that. And I can't wait to meet everybody at the gate and hand them one of these magazines, you know, say welcome to the Moore Expo. I know, I know. And again, I got to thank my team for who, um, you know, not only do they support me during the events when we're doing the check-in, but during me making the magazine, they, you know, they're like, have you eaten today? Did you drink enough water? You know, they have to put up with me and, uh, they're so supportive and loving and kind. And I, I just appreciate all of them.

Chris: Absolutely. You've got a crack team. And like we talked about in the beginning of this, Can't do it without them. Exactly. Oh, much love, much love. Um, well everybody, uh, we will be on next week, Monday 8 PM. Um, I'm not sure. I don't have my schedule in front of me, so I don't know who the guest is.

Cindy: Who's your guest next week?

Chris: We will surprise you and let you know, uh, stay tuned on all of our social channels.

Cindy: That's during the eclipse, or that's the day of the eclipse. Is it the eighth? Oh, I mean, happened before your podcast, but hopefully we're all still around.

Chris: Oh, I'm sure we will. I may have to, um, I may have to do a remote on the podcast if I can get out and go see that from somewhere. Cool. But that would be neat. Totally. Well, Cindy, thank you again. And for all of you listening, thank you. And we will see you in April, Springfield, Missouri, at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds for more Expo year number five.
